3. ESTABLISH MONTHLY MEETING DATES/TIMES
The Board set the FIRST THURSDAY each month, 7-8 p.m. for its regular monthly meeting. Meetings will be at 3313 Sentinel unless otherwise posted at the mail kiosk.
4. FINANCIAL MATTERS
There was discussion of the NCHOA budget. Veronica will meet with Ann Crosby to clarify roles and expectations between Treasurer and bookkeeper. Cindy Johnson agreed to serve as Treasurer if needed. Veronica will seek more information from Ann Crosby regarding $1,247 in delinquent dues.
5. NEW BUSINESS
The Board, pursuant to item 5.2 of the Covenants, appointed the Architectural Control Committee consisting of members Rich Lathrop (chair), Karin Hale, Thor Berg. This committee needs two more members. Please call Rich Lathrop if interested. The Board added parking matters to the ACC duties.
The Board plans to distribute a copy of the “Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of Northcreek Subdivision” to each home in coming weeks. Some 35 homeowners picked up copies of the Bylaws at the November Annual Meeting. Thor Berg plans to complete that distribution soon. Those two documents spell out our responsibilities to one another in the neighborhood.
The Board discussed the “water on Hopkins” issue. (Sump pumps running on individual properties were discharging to the gutter, flowing downhill and freezing during cold weather along Hopkins and the cul-de-sac). Based on discussions with the City Right-of-Way manager Pat Gourley, Rich Lathrop said there appeared to be no role for the NCHOA at this time. The Board concluded this is primarily a matter between individual homeowners and the City rather than the Association.
6. ADJOURNED 8:14 p.m. NEXT MEETING: Thursday, Feb. 5, 7-8 p.m. at 3313 Sentinel.
