Dear Owners,
I apologize for the tardiness of these Minutes. I was out of town early in the month and then busy with Precint Captain duties. Thanks to Thor Berg for capturing these notes!

MEETING: NCHOA Board of Directors
DATE: April 1, 2004
LOCATION: 3313 Sentinel
1. ATTENDEES: Ann Crosby, Veronica Precella, Cindy Johnson, Karin Hale and Thor Berg.
2. FINANCIAL MATTERS: Certified letters were not sent out, but hopefully within the next month, the letters for past dues will be sent out. Karin Hale and Veronica volunteered to be the co-signers along with Ann Crosby for the bank signature cards.
3. NORTHCREEK COMMUNITY SIGN: Karin Hale has received one bid; a second bid is expected very soon.
4. HOT TUB: Veronica has noted the hot tub is beyond its design life and its controls are antiquated. Since it still is functioning, it was recommended that it be started once again. Replacing the hot tub will be an issue at our Annual meeting. Do the homeowners want to pay for a replacement tub or remove the outdated unit?
5. NEIGHBORHOOD GARAGE SALE: May 15 is the tentative date for the Northcreek Garage Sale. In conjunction with the garage sale, Rich Lathrop will arrange for weekend rental of a roll-off dumpster. We will provide info on local recycling options, also, before the sale date.
6. FUTURE SOCIAL EVENTS: Sunday Morning Coffee at the Hot Tub? Discussion was tabled. We need the warm weather first. The volleyball net will be installed.
7. ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE: Veronica Precella read the report that was written by Rich Lathrop. The ACC activities report is available by email to any Owner. Contact Rich at richnlana@aol.com.
8. NEW BUSINESS: Cottonwood tree issue – Dave Mattey of UCAR called Pres. Veronica Precella about a cottonwood tree that might fall into UCAR’s parking lot and damage parked cars. The question is - Who is legally responsible for trimming, cutting down and removing the tree? Is it UCAR, Northcreek or the White Rock Ditch Company where the tree is located? It boils down to $$$. We are researching the who-is-liable question.
9. ADJOURN: The meeting was concluded at 8:15 p.m. The next Board meeting will be Thursday, May 6 from 7 to 8 PM at 3313 Sentinel Drive.
THANK YOU! to Thor Berg for capturing these Minutes in the absence of HOA Secretary Rich Lathrop.
